Mary “Louise” Hammond (née Arsenault), of Wingham, passed away at the Wingham & District Hospital, surrounded by family on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in her 86th year.
Beloved wife of Raymond “Frank” Hammond.
Cherished mother of Janice (Mitch) Smith-Ward of Waterford, Brian of Orangeville, Gary of Toronto, Shelley (Dwight) Wilson of Grimsby and Alison (Wayne) Lawrence of Tiverton.
Dear grandmother of Keith, Kristen, Roxanne, Mathew, Amie, Raymond, Katrina, Megan, Ryan and Amanda, great-grandmother of Chloe, Clara, Cody, Shelby, Florenza and Austin.
Survived by siblings, Corinne Gaudet, Rose (Peter) Arsenault, Abel (Gloria) Arsenault, Ernest (Judy) Arsenault and Cecil Pineault.
Missed by many nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
Predeceased by her brothers Anthony, Bobby, sisters Thelma Gallant, Alma Cormier and Rita Gallant.
Final resting place, Tiverton Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 180, Wingham, on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m..
Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Wingham and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
