We are sad to announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Eunice Marion (née Arnold) Emmerton, on Monday, June 8th, 2020. She was in her 89th year.

She will be deeply missed by her family, Ed McGillivray and his partner Janice, Rick (Debbie) McGillivray, Steve (Cathy) Emmerton and Bob (Mary) Emmerton.

Remembered by her grandchildren, Kelly, Kristy, Matt, Jamie (Hilary), Reanne (Pete) and her great-grandchildren, Spencer, Evan, Rebecca, Andrew and Jason.

She will be missed by her sister-in-law Helen Arnold and her extended families and many friends.

She took loving pride and joy in all of her grand and great-grandchildren. Eunice always loved showing them off. She also loved a game of cards with her friends.

Predeceased by her parents, Lloyd and Muriel (née Griffith) Arnold, her first husband Wilmer McGillivray, second husband, Wib Emmerton, son Ken McGillivray, daughter-in-law Sandra McGillivray, stepson Lea Emmerton, stepdaughter Diane MacLeod and brother Leo Arnold.

Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Trillium Court and Dr. Gurbin for their care of Mom in the years she lived there.

Due to provincial restrictions a private family graveside service will be held at the Kincardine Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made in appreciation to the Kincardine United Church or Trillium Senior’s Retirement Council, Kincardine.
