What a nice man he was. My sister and I saw him most days at trillium court. She’d bring our mom coffee in the morning and I’d take her out for one at night. He would say to my sister “coffee wagons here!” And he would say to me “coffee run!” He was often out front cleaning up the entrance, watering the plants, or taking a residents dog out for air. He was never idle and always spoke and always kind. We were so sad to hear of his passing. He was a light in our day and we will really miss seeing him. Our condolences to his family.

Our deepest sympathy to the Davey on the passing of Bert. He was a special person and he had his days too. I called him Uncle Burp when he lived at the Manor. He said I wasn*t the first to call him that just so I knew that. We shared laughter and quiet times. So now he gets his wings so soar above us and safe travels my friend. R.I.P.

We will remember with fondness Burt’s friendly smile, his quiet sense of humour, and his kind remarks that he always made towards us and particularly our dad at Trillium Court.
