Obituary for Gladys "Benny" Murray (MacGregor)
Gladys Adelaide “Benny” Murray (née MacGregor) of Kincardine, passed away surrounded by the love of her family, at Huron Shores Hospice, on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at age 90.
Cherished wife of the late Raymond “Ray” Murray who predeceased her on September 2, 2017.
Loving mother of Shirley Crossley of Kincardine, Sharon McGarvey (Chris) of Kincardine and Brian Murray (Colleen) of Dorset.
Dear grandmother of Michael Crossley (Katrina), Daniel Crossley, Ryan McGarvey (Brittany), Andrew McGarvey (Beth), Patrick McGarvey, Courtney Murray and Liam Murray.
Fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Brooke, Paisley, Olivia, Kate, Maddy and Grayson.
Also survived by her siblings, Marion MacLeod, Sam MacGregor and Shirley Colquhoun, sisters-in-law, June McGregor and Edna Williams and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Norman and Annie (née McLeod) MacGregor, daughter-in-law Tammi Keggenhoff, siblings Donna Howard (Jack) and Mort McGregor and in-laws, Donald MacLeod, Joan MacGregor, Robert Colquhoun and Bud Williams.
A private graveside service to honour Gladys’ life will be held at the Ripley Cemetery on Saturday, June 12th, with Ann Maycock officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Huron Shores Hospice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
