Harold Ernest Hayes, of Hanover and formerly of Kinloss, passed away on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018 at the Hanover & District Hospital at the age of 76 with family by his side.

Cherished husband of Patricia (née Husk) Hayes.

Beloved father of Mike Hayes of Riversdale, Dale (Joan) Hayes of Teeswater and Brad (Jennifer) Hayes of Hanover.

Missed by his grandchildren Starr, J.J., Chris, Shayna, Daryl, Kelsey, Brandon, Brittney, Katie, Kyle, Ryan and 6 great-grandchildren.

Dear brother of Burton (Judy) Hayes of Kincardine, Alvery (Marg) Hayes of Lucknow and brother-in-law of Allie Hayes of Kincardine, Marion Hayes of Goderich and Alex Nivins of Nile.

Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Predeceased by daughter-in-law Susan Hayes, siblings Nathanial, William, Earl, Charles, Agnes Bushell, Sam, James, George, Marie Wonch, Beatrice Nivins, Nellie, Nelson, and Alice.

Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home on Thursday, October 11, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. The funeral service will take place at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., with Ann Maycock officiating.

Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery.
