Helen Christina (née Roppel) Reist, of Tiverton, passed away at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, with family by her side, on Tuesday, May 26th, 2020 at the age of 91.
Beloved wife of Edgar Reist for 69 years.
Dear mother of Wayne (Marilyn Reburn) Reist of Underwood, Brian (Mary Montgomery) Reist of Holland Landing, Sharon Reist (John Kimlin) of London, David (Judy Dixon) Reist of Chute-a-Bloudeu, Raymond (Barb McEwen) Reist of Kinburn and Arlene (Sven Frackelton) Reist of Sarasota, Florida.
Remembered by her grandchildren Julie (Mike) Kruiderink, Kevin Reist, Nicholas Reist, Ben Reist, Christine Reist, Michael Reist, Andrew Zeitz and Eric Reist and 6 great-grandchildren.
Missed by her in-laws and the extended Reist family.
Predeceased by her parents Milton and Frieda (née Rock) Roppel.
Following Helen’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Final resting place, Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.
