John William Buchanan a resident of R-Villa - Ripley, and formerly of Inverhuron, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine on Monday, May 31st, 2021, in his 85th year.

Beloved husband Josephine Hodge-Buchanan (née Counter).

Missed by his family, Carol Sampson (Lynda) of Drayton, Rick Hodge of Peterborough, John Hodge (Cheryl) of Saskatchewan, Deborah Miller (John) of Rockwood, Barry Hodge (Nicole) of North Bay, Thomas Hodge (Teresa), 24 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Also survived by sister-in-law Patricia Buchanan and nephews, Robert Buchanan (Alisha) and their children, R.J. and Asher, Michael Buchanan (Karen), Dave Buchanan (Julie) and their children, Aliana and Evelyn.

Lovingly remembered by the Byle family.

Predeceased by his parents, John “Jack” and Evelyn (née Price) Buchanan, brother Ron Buchanan and step-sons Wayne Hodge (Gail), Bill Hodge and Bruce Hodge.

A private family funeral service will be held at Wednesday, June 9th, 2021.

Interment Port Bruce Cemetery.
