Obituary for Joy Mary Lynam (Witter)
Joy Mary (née Witter) Lynam, of Kincardine, passed away suddenly, at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital,
St. Thomas, on Thursday, March 18th, 2021, at the age of 76.
Cherished wife of the late Christopher “Chris” Lynam (2017).
Dearly missed by her children Julie (David) Whitney of Kincardine and Barry (Donna) Lynam
of St. Thomas.
Beloved grandmother of Michael (Amanda) Whitney, Johnathan (Paige) Whitney, Rachael (Bryce) Whitney, Bryan (Jorie) Lynam and Corbin Lynam and great-grandmother of Bryce Lynam and Christopher Whitney.
Fondly remembered by her brother John Witter (Michelle) of Florida, sister-in-law Charlotte (Brian) Pitchford, Val (Peter) McCann, Mary Lynam of England and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Jack and Mary (née Allman) Witter.
Following Joy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
