Pauline and Simone were cherished friends of ours for many years While we lived in Kincardin they were like parents to us and our children called them grandma and grandpa and still think of them as that to this day. We played many tennis games together as partners and also taught tennis lessons together. Paul and I made a great team and we enjoyed each other‘s company immensely. Pauline and Simone would come over to our place on special occasions as well as taking a walk and coming for a visit. We also shared a deep faith in God and talked about the Lord on many occasions. They were very special people to us and we will always cherish them deep within our hearts.

Uncle Paul will be truly missed by all of those who knew him. When we were children Uncle Paul and Simone would pick up nephews and nieces to spend months with them. They never had children of their own however all the children who came into their hearts were treated with love and kindness. I know that Paul is with Simone now and that they are both finally in peace. We will treasure the memories of both Paul and Simone for ever. Love and rest in peace. Marc Bousquet

I met Paul on the tennis courts in the 70's, he was an awesome player and quickly took me under his wings to show me the 'tricks' of the game. We played lots of doubles over the years and he nicknamed us the French Connection. I also had the pleasure of playing bridge at Inverlyn where he was also playing, he was quite good at that too!! He and Simone were a wonderful couple and I hope that they are together now. He was one-of-a-kind gentle person and he will be missed. Repose en paix! Colette LePage
