Ron was my brother in law and was an amazing person who treated my sister Heidi with much love and tender care while she was ill. He was kind and generous and always happy. He loved to tell stories and he loved tease, enjoying private chuckles watching for reactions. We enjoyed many great times together on Manitoulin, at Watson's Camp and later at our Gordon's Park. He would always come up for his birthday, August 11th, to celebrate his special day with Terry and I. He had much in common with Terry and they could spend many hours talking about all things building, mechanical, and including home repairs and gardening. Every summer when he and Heidi would come up he would head with Terry to the hayfield at the farm always helping and enjoying being part of the farm family. Ron was special, he took amazing care of my sister Heidi during her illness and never complained. He loved the Beach Boys as did all of us when he would fire up his 8 track and get us all dancing and grooving to the music. We will miss you Ron, rest in peace, we are happy you and Heidi are reunited in the heavens above. Love you, xoxox
