Wilma Jean (née McLeod) Robinson passed away peacefully at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, on Wednesday October 7th, 2020, at the age of 93.

Leaving to mourn her passing is her daughter Sharon (Stew) Taylor of Owen Sound and her son Dennis (Susan) Robinson of Kincardine; her 4 grandchildren, Carrie (Art) Houghton, Holly (Jamie Kress) Robinson both of Kincardine, Angela Bolton of Owen Sound and Matt (Erin) Taylor of London; her 7 great-grandchildren, Emily, Richard and Stewart Bolton, Jake and McKinna Colley, and Jared and Trent Houghton and sister-in-law Gerry McLeod.

Predeceased by her husband Lorne Robinson, her parents William and Mary Jane McLeod, her brothers Murray (Helen) McLeod, Carman McLeod, Donald McLeod, Mervyn McLeod, her sisters Doris (Len) McCarthy, Mildred (Jack) Small and her sister-in-law Winifred Robinson.

Wilma was Nana to everyone, not just her immediate family. She was selfless in her dedication to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her extended family of nieces and nephews, her friends and her community. Nana took great joy in making delicious meals and special treats as she was an amazing cook and baker.

Wilma and Lorne farmed on the North Line in Kincardine Township for their entire married life. In later years, Nana moved to Malcolm Place and then to RVilla, where she received wonderful care.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, the Kincardine United Church or Huron Shores Hospice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and can be made by contacting the funeral home (519-396-2701).

Wilma was a close friend of Marion McDonald and family. After Lorne passed Wilma chauffeured Marion and Orlo on many luncheon outings.

Condolences Susan, Dennis and families. Will always remember Wilma’s lovely smile and I enjoyed our little chats whenever I would see her. She will be missed.

We have so many wonderful memories of Wilma and Lorne. They welcomed my parents to Bruce County in 1955, becoming steadfast friends and an integral part of our family . Wilma delighted in her own family and especially her grandchildren, but she loved all little ones. Her cooking and baking skills were well known; I know if I pull out a treasured recipe from "Wilma Robinson" it will be delicious! Keeping the Robinson family in our thoughts.

We have so many wonderful memories of Wilma and the Robinson family. She and Lorne welcomed my parents to Bruce County in 1955, and they became steadfast friends. Throughout celebrations and tragedies, they were an integral part of our family and of the whole community. She delighted in her family and her grandchildren, but she loved all little ones. I remember how pleased she was to meet our own children as they were born. Her baking and cooking skills were well known; I know if I pull out a recipe from Wilma it is sure to be delicious! We'll keep the whole Robinson family in our thoughts.
