May I send my sympathy and love to the Wrightson family in the loss of Doreen. Losing a wife, mother, grandmother and greatmother leaves a hole in everyone's life. But it is reassuring to know she has gone to heaven. Heaven is a wonderful place
full of glory and grace, and even more so when we have welcomed Jesus Christ into our life we are confident we will be together again. Doreen and I go back many years. I went home with her and attended her "Young Peoples". She came home with me to go to "Christian Endeavour". Someone thought she was special.

Dear Wrightson Family:
I remember fondly my junior high days with your family at the Fourth of Bruce (Shiloh) and North Bruce (Zion) United Brethren Churches when my Dad was the pastor in 1969-1971. I think Doug and Doreen's was the first place we visited when we moved to Bruce County and we were invited over for supper.
On behalf of The United Brethren Church in Canada I express our sincerest condolences on Doreen's passing, and pray for God's peace and deepest comfort to be yours in this time of loss. May the promise of seeing her again in glory lift your spirits as you look to Him.
Yours, in Christ,
Brian Magnus, Bishop,
The United Brethren Church in Canada

Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with Doug and family at this time of loss. Many fond memories of the past, and Doreen was my Grade 8 public school teacher. She is at peace with her Lord. The family have our deepest sympathy at this time. God Bless.
